The faculty of a sixth through eighth grade middle school who have laptop labs in their classrooms and are seeking trainign on Web 2.0 technologies.

Create and manage a wiki
Improve an existing practice in the classroom via a wiki
Curriculum - What do they need to know?
Learners need to know the various web sites that offer free or low cost wikis ie: wikispaces, pbwiki, wetpaint, livejournal
Classroom wikis can be an organizational tool, digital storage for classroom notes and summaries or the outcome of a research project
Wikis are an interactive space for virtual conversation where understanding of a topic can be developed.
Learners need to know how establish a safe, educational environment for students to use.
Learners need to know what aspect of their curriculum or classroom management practice they would like to improve via a wiki
Pedagogy - What activity will faciliate learning?
Faculty members will create a wiki to implement into their classroom practices.
